We share your Personal Data with third parties only to help us use your Personal Data as listed above and to fulfill the contract we have with you.

Examples of third parties are software providers, web shop host and courier services, called Service Providers. Service Providers can only use your Personal Data for the specific purposes for which the information is collected, and based on data processing agreements entered into between Maria Riddervold and the Service Providers.

For example, we use Squarespace.com to power our Site. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. For shipment arrangement, we provide your name, address, email address and phone number to our courier.

We do not sell information about you to any third parties.

Transfer of your personal information outside the EU

Personal information collected about you may be transferred to a country outside EU/EØS. If we transfer Personal Data we will make sure that it happens to countries that the EU commission has established as secure or that the transfer is based upon legal frameworks relating to the transfer of Personal Data, such as the EU-US Privacy Shield Frameworks.  

Security of Site

The Site is encrypted and secured by SSL line.  

Note that our customer email service is not encrypted. 

Payments

Please note that mariariddervold.com do not store or collect your credit card details as the payment is handled by Stripe, our payment processor.

Data rentention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your order information and Personal Data for our records as long as we need the information to fulfill our legal obligations. For example, we retain your Personal Data to fulfill our responsibilities with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act, which states that we are required to store your purchasing information for five years from the date of the purchase.
